Jurade de St Emilion dinner, part III

Who snuck that Yquem in here?

2000 Château Clos Fourtet;
Deep ruby, tiny bit of herbs, greenish nose (I seem to always find this in Clos Fourtet). Fresh acidity, somewhat lean body, ripe tannins, shortish.... 87

2000 Château Beau-Séjour Becot;
Deep ruby, massive nose, intense coffee. Fresher palate, OK acidity, ripe tannins, structured, good length, lacks excitement for me. 90

Lovely dessert!

2000 Château d'Yquem;
Golden, tropical, some botrytis, clean if not too complex. Fresh, on the verge of lively, should be more concentrated, fairly long. 91

Jean Francois Julien of La Fleur Morange, I don't speak french, he doesn't speak english, still we had good fun.
