1996 Gimonnet Blanc de Blancs Brut 1er Cru Cuvée Fleuron:
Straw
yellow, small bubbles. Apples, brioche, some slight oxidated notes,
minerals, a bit all over the place. Freshish acidity, more elegant
mousse but a bit quircky and not quite together, bitter and unripe
finish, could be more elegant for sure. Haven't tasted this one in a few
years, none of my former bottles were like this, hopefully off bottle.
