Ruby, garnet rim. Liquorice, fruity, plums, touch of mint, morellos and tobacco. Fresh acidity, high of ripe tannins, fruity but dry mid palate because of the tannins, liquorice finish, dies off a bit quickly. 92

Ruby, thin garnet rim. Fruity, gingerbread, plums and slightly scented nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, bit extracted feel, long. Bit alcoholic. 90

2001 Aurelio Settimo Barolo Rocche:

Ruby, thin garnet rim. A bit rich, fruity, liquorice and morellos nose. Dark berries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit sweet and fruity, bit easy going, long. 90
