Some faulty storage and corked old Bordeaux including 79 Lafite and Pavie

1979 Château Léoville-Barton:
Ruby, thin brick rim. Scented, fruity, cassis, leather and tobacco nose. Quite delicate nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, very rounded, bit boring palate, good length. Bit off bottle. 88

1979 Château Pavie:
Corked

1979 Château Lafite Rothschild:
Ruby, garnet rim, bit cloudy. Vanilla, spices, waffles nose. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, rounded, easy going, bit lean finish. Iodine. Faulty storage, at least bad bottle. 85

1975 Château Léoville Las Cases:
Ruby, garnet rim. Bit tired nose, drying. Tired. By far the worst bottle I've had of this.
