2010 in Sauternes

Sauternes is also somewhat divided, some are pure, layered and stunning, others not quite that. I did not taste any bad wines, some was less exciting, but most would probably be worth their asking price anyway. Many had stunning purity in flavours, combined with a beautiful acidity and long length. Wines of the vintage would probably be Yquem and Lafaurie-Peyraguey for me, with Fargues, Doisy Daƫne, Suduiraut and La Tour Blanche right behind.
