Very top shoulder, ruby with garnet rim. Fresh fruit, cassis and bell pepper. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, what a surprice, by far the best Maucaillou I've tasted, fresh and lively, lovely balance, this is easygoing, mature Bordeaux at it's best. 87
