Margaux doesn't have to be pricey

2010 Château Larruau:
I had never heard of this estate, situated in Margaux, but insiders in Bordeaux tells me that this wine is all consumed by the locals. Deep ruby. Vanilla, cassis and a touch of violets. Fresh acidity, not too lively, ripe tannins, ripe feel, elegant, balanced and easy going. Good length. 84. Not bad for a around €8 Margaux, if you can find it.
