2009 Ridge Monte Bello:
Deep ruby. Ripe, rich, intense, cassis,
floral but also a bit alcoholic. Seems modern on the nose for Ridge,
but that thought dissapear on the palate. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins,
fresher palate, fruity, rounder palate, fairly nuanced, refreshing and
long. Almost sexy. 94
