82 and 66 Barca Velha and 99 Dal Forno Romano Valpo


1982 Barca Velha:
Ruby, very thin rim. Tobacco, plums, rich, ripe, fruity but also lean nose. Liquorice. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, red berries, some anise, fairly elegant, some coffee notes, long. 91

1966 Barca Velha:
Ruby, garnet rim. Dusty, leather, slight iodine, some scented notes and søight floral notes. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, some prunes, plums, not too complex but lovely even so, long. 90

1999 Dal Forno Romano Valpolicella:
Dark ruby. Some herbs, liquorice, scented, cherries, chocolate, pine, different nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, rounded body, not too much going on, liquorice and pine, leanish and a bit dry. Mint. 89
