2012 Château Fourcas-Borie:

Ruby. Scented, vanilla and berries on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and quite fresh. 85-87

2012 Château Fourcas Dupré:

Ruby. Slightly scented, lilies and red berries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner and easy going, quite refreshing. 84-86

2012 Château Fourcas Hosten:

Ruby. Slightly scented, fruity, ever so slightly ripe tone to it. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner body, fairly elegant, good length. 84-86

2012 Château Mayne Lalande:

Deep ruby. Coffee and extracted nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, all over the place palate, fruity and oaky. 80-82

2012 Château Chasse-Spleen:

Ruby. Fruity, cassis, slightly scented, elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing and fairly lively, lovely texture and good length. 87-89

2012 Château La Garricq:

Deep ruby. Barrels and ripe fruit on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruitier and fresher palate luckilly, lively, good length. 84-86

2012 Château Maucaillou:

Deep ruby. Deeper fruit, touch of dark chocolate and spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fuller body, a bit chunky. Oaky finish. 84-86

2012 Château Mauvesin Barton:

Ruby. Fresh nose of dark berries. Fresh acidty, ripe tannins, fruity, elegant, fresh and quite lively, good length. 84-86

2012 Château Poujeaux:

Ruby. Scented, fruity, dark berries, layered nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant and lively, quite refreshing, somewhat sterner finish. 87-89
