Bright ruby, thin brick rim. Cherries, anise, figs, sweet and sour and liquorice nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner, cherries, fruit stones, morellos, sweet and sour, lean, quite mature allready. According to this bottle i wouldn't wait to long. 89

 

2011 Clos des Jacobins

Ruby. Cassis, blackberries, dark fruits, anise and liquorice notes nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, cassis, blackberries, anise, dark fruits, liquorice, leaner than last bottle. 88

Bright ruby. Scented, red berries, delicate, some herbs, nuanced and fairly lifted nose. Fresh acidity, gentle tannins, red fruits, some light anise, some herbs, bright and refreshing, good length. 88

Ruby. Dark fruits, some figs, blackberries, dates, evolving nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, dates, figs, tobacco, blackberries, good length. 89
