05 Gaia Estate, beautiful Greek wine.

2005 Gaia Estate Nemea Agiorgitiko;
Ruby, garnet rim. Fresh dark fruits like plum, and berries like blackberries. Just a sprinkle of vanilla and licorice, a whiff of mint and thyme. Fresh feel, lively acidity, ripe tannins, needs air to open, coffee-beans, and plum-stone finish, long, fresh and elegant. Long. Still fairly youthful. For everyone thinking that Greece cannot make wine, try this one. (they make splendid whites as well) 92
