Some Biondi Santi's and Coche Dury plus Clement Perseval
Clement Perseval Blanc de Noir Premier Cru Zero Dosage
4080 bottles made. Degorged 30.07.12. Pale lemon yellow, tiny bubbles. Apples, minerals, some yeast, quite delicate nose, ever so slightly yellow fruity, some yeast. Fresh acidity, elegant mousse, quite detailed, slightly sweet fruity, but just to balance it, good length. 88
2010 Coche-Dury Bourgogne Aligoté
Pale lemon yellow. Some lemons, apples, minerals, very elegant and subdued nose, ever so slightly nutty far behind and almond flowers. Fresh acidity, leaner palate, refreshing and elegant, very easy to enjoy, citrusy, minerals, almost chalky, detailed and very delicate, refined. Not the longest. Lovely Aligoté. 88
2008 Biondi Santi Brunello di Montalcino Annata:
Bright ruby. Red berries, more tender nose than last bottle, some floral notes, almonds very delicate. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner and more detailed but also some drier notes, not a perfect bottle. Drying finish. 85
1999 Biondi Santi Brunello di Montalcino Annata
Bright ruby. Some letaher and anise but dusty nose, lean and weak palate, tired bottle. Bought in Sorento, probably to warm storage in the shop.

Bright ruby. Red berries, floral notes, detailed if leaner nose, refreshing, cherries and leather. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, elegant, refreshing, slightly leaner bottle, long. 90
