Burgundies, Bordeaux and more

2000 Koehler Ruprecht Riesling Brut:
Towards golden, small bubbles. Apples, some petroleum notes, slightly spicy and cinamon nose. Freshish acidity, fruity, lazy mousse, apply and spicy, good length. 86

1995 Robert Ampeau Puligny-Montrachet Les Comttes
Served blind. Towards golden. Waxy, oxidized apples, nuts, premoxed, flat in the mouth.

2009 Blain-Gagnard Bâtard-Montrachet:
Served blind. Pale lemon yellow. Tight, lemony, minerals, slightly smoky, needs lots of air to open, some floral notes and yellow fruits blowing off with more air. Fresh acidity, delicate, nuanced, lemons, minerals, flinty, some butter. Long, could be more nuanced. 92

2008 Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Ducs:
Pale ruby. Started out tight, opened up in three hours in decanter, floral, red berries, delicate and nuanced nose, fresh, slightly scented. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, lively, quite elegant, refreshing, red berries and nuanced, not the most refined. Long. 92

2008 Gaia Estate Agiorgitiko:
Ruby. Dark berries, spices, sweet and to ripe nose. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, some herbal notes and unbalanced, rich and undgainly, what has happened, this used to be good but haven't tasted it for years. 85

2008 Château La Violette:
Deep ruby. Blueberries, scented, barrel notes, rich and somewhat extracted nose bu luckily some more details behind. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lots of barrels and barrel spices and toast, drying palate, the fruit can't quite handle, a very made wine that impress some. 90

1990 Château Gazin:
Ruby, thin garnet rim. Tobacco, intensely scented, dark berries, it has a slight herbal note as well, slightly rustic, that will put off a few, massive, coffee and black tea. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, red and some darker berries, I thought the bottle wasn't perfect, but after a long time, a few more hours, it as lovely. 94

1999 Grivot Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers:
Ruby, thin garnet rim. Datk berries, slightly scented, compact, mint, barrel notes behind the fruit, spicy. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruit, structured, chewy, quite rich, intense, powerfull, refreshing and nuanced behind the structure, youthful, almost Bordeaux structure, much more structured and intense than the othet (very few) bottles I've tasted from Grivot. 93

1998 Comte Armand Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epenaux:
Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, elegant, red berries, slight floral notes, quite intense nose, the most delicate nose I've had on this. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh , elegant and lively, long and rounded, refreshing and fairly rounded Pommard, long. 92

2007 Brezza Barolo Bricco Sarmassa:
Bright ruby, brick rim. Tar, roses, liquorice, some cherries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fairly fresh, leaner palate, liquorice finish. 88

2010 Markus Molitor Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese **:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, tight, slightly floral, elegant nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, fresh, lively, truly playful, delicate but intense and mouthwatering, lovely and long. 93
