Six from Latour

2012 Pauillac
Ruby. Somewhat scented, slightly herbal and cassis nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and quite and nice texture, good length. 85-87

2012 Les Forts de Latour:
Deepish ruby. Layered, complex, cassis, quite intense nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing and quite intense flavours, long finish. 89-91

2012 Château Latour:
Deepish ruby. Dense, coffee, cassis, deep, layered and complex, a bit tight nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, quite refined, fruity, refreshing, textured but velvety behind, long length. 93-95


2009 Pauillac
Ruby. Ripe fruit, some plums, elegant cedary touch, vanilla and scented. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, quite textured and tannic finish. 87

2005 Les Forts de Latour
Deep ruby. Scented, cassis, some vanilla, coffee touch, some plums, nuanced and layered. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing and intense, structured, long length. 92

1995 Château Latour:
Deep ruby, garnet rim. Scented, some liquorice, cedar touch, cassis, almost a touch of mint. Complex, intense and layered nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, somewhat leaner body than nose, refreshing, long and slightly lean finish. Very long actually. Somewhat more evolved than expected. 94
