Young Ridge and boring Montrachet

1995 Marc Colin, Montrachet;
Gullgul, quite a bit oaky, then sweet yellow fruits, plums and apples, very intence acidity, not very complex, not what a Montrachet should be. Dissapointing. 82

2000 Ridge Montebello, Santa Cruz Mountains, Cabernet Sauvignon;
Deep ruby, very elegant, fruit driven at the moment, cassis, leather, blackberries, cigars and cofee, fresh acidity, ripe tannins, some vanilla, ballanced, long finish. Keep. 86
