Nightcap La Romanée, Clos de la Roche and more.
André Jacquart Premier Cru Experience Blanc de Blancs Brut NV:
Pale lemon yellow, small bubbles. Yeast, apples, minerals and autolyses nose. Fresh acidity, elegant mousse, fruitier palate, crisp, apple peal, slight unripe pear note, long. 90
2006 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles:
Pale lemon yellow, tiny bubbles. Apples, yellow fruits, honey, beeswax, minerals, heavier nose. Fresh acidity, elegant if a bit thin mousse, fresh, lively, creamy and waxy, lively, long if lean finish. 89
2000 Bouchard Pere Fils La Romanée:
Served blind. Ruby. Scented, fruity, dark berries, slightly spicy, nuanced, red berries and some cherries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, delicate, lively, some herbal notes, I was on 05 but was corrected, that it was 2000, and some said RC, then I guessed La Romanée and that it was, pure luck. Anyway, long. 93
2011 Domaine Dujac Morey-Saint-Denis:
Ruby. Scented, red berries and some darker notes, vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, slight herbal note, fresh and delicate, even if a bit rich, good length. 88
2010 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche:
(Served blind) Ruby. Scented, red berries, flirting, floral and nuanced nose, delicate. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit lean but very elegant, fruity detailed, fresh and lively but not that complex, long. 91
