2001 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Bright ruby. Scented, anise, red berries, cherries, some coffee notes and spices, lavendel touch. Some prunes and figs with air. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner palate, some cherries and anise, structured, sour cherries finish, needs an hour of decanting to round off the edges, long. 90

2004 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Bright ruby. Scented, some vanille, red berries, liquorice and oak spices nose, some prunes. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fairly fresh palate, oak spices interupting fresher fruit, fairly lively, good length. Bit dry finish. 88

2005 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Ruby. Liquorice, dark berries, some vanilla, more spices, bit warm fruit. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, more rounded fruit but a bit biting oak, spicy finish. Bit short. 87

2006 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Ruby. Some red berries, dark fruits, some cherries,  and liquorice nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresher and fruity, sour cherries, more freshness, less up front oak, long. 90

2007 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Ruby. Red berries, some liquorice, anise, some spices, floral and scented. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, more noticeable oak again but handles it better, fresh finish. 89

2008 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Ruby. Scented, vanilla, violets, elegant nose, cherries and some blueberries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and fresh, quite lively and mouthwatering, refreshing and lively, long. 91

2009 Boscarelli Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Riserva:
(Magnum) Ruby. Red berries, some cherries, slightly spicy, rosemary touch and lavendel nose, somewhat spicy. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, refreshing, cherries, fresh, bit spicy and biting in the finish, long. 90

2013 Boscarelli Cortona Merlot
First vintage. 5000 bottles made. Clay, about 220 metres altitude. Ruby. Red berries and dark fruits, some vanilla, fruity. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, soft and fruity, bit easy going and lean finish. 83
