Chateau Palmer 96, 95, 90 and 89

1996 Chateau Palmer;
Beautifull ruby, some sediments. Leather, some cassis, cigars, mint, slightly perfumed, complex nose, some cedar and floral notes. But tender. Nice acidity, fresh, clean fruit, extremely elegant and balanced, youthfull and very long indeed. Wait. 91

1995 Chateau Palmer;
Ruby, slightly lighter than the 96, still sediments. Leather, cassis, lots of cigars, some barrel hints, very complex and very elegant, floral notes, violets and tulips. Nice acidity, again, great balance, very elegant, a bit more than the 96 now, very long elegant finish, wait. 91

1990 Chateau Palmer;
Beautifull ruby, thin brick rim, some sediments. Open, transparent yet complex. Great floral nose, roses, tulips and violets and on top some fresh strawberries, jasmin hedge and hints of blackcurrants. Elegance, perfect balance, the acidity is packed in, ripe tannins and fantastic length. Almost elegance perfection. 93

1989 Chateau Palmer;
Ruby, thin brick rim and some sediments. Closed and takes a lot of time to open. Some floral notes, cigar, hints of blackcurrants. Again, great balance, almost Burgundy Grand Cru in its strawberry, acidity and spices, exceptional complexity and fantastic youthfullness and cleanness of fruit. Fantastic length, truly awesome. 95
