Deep ruby, pure and elegant noe, some spices and Tuscan herbs in the back, vanilla, barrel notes, cassis and cherries. Medium fruit, more intencity, acidity could be a bit fresher, beautifull ripe tannins, very long finish. 91


2005 Paolo Scavino Barolo Bric del Fiasc;
Bright deep ruby, perfumed, intence of rose water and liquorice, great acidity an ripe tannins, very long finish, this really needs time. for now. 89


2006 Schrader Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon;
Deep ruby, intence sweetish fruit, jam, mint and some anis. Big body, still quite elegant, lots of ripe tannins, good acidity, wins you over, could have more complexity and refinement. Long finish. 87


2007 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese*;
Pale lemon yellow, pure nose of pineapple, some ripe aples and lemon, but the pineapple really shines through. Delicious acidity and balance the sweetness greatly, very elegant. 86
