2001 Chateau d'Yquem;
(demi) Perfection. 100
That doesn't do it for you now does it? But it's true. This is utterly perfect. Tasted it once before, from a double magnum, and it's exactly as good in compact size. Pale golden, some botrytis, apricots, honey, subtle and extremely complex, buttery popcorn, toffee, real English ones, such elegance, orange peel, lemon, apples, pure beauty, sunshine in liquid form, so seductive, such purity, transparent and layered, massive and elegant, magnificent, I run out of superlatives on this one, a marvel. And even down here, it get's the same score. 100
