2000 Domenico Clerico PerCristina Barolo;
Ruby, garnet rim. Black tea behind cherries, tar and some wood, menthol. Some astringent oak tannins ruins a otherwise mouthwatering freshness, great acidity, superb structure, well except for those tannins, not a typical Barolo by any means, but still, one would love another glass. 90
1997 Roberto Voerzio, Barolo Brunate;
Ruby, brick rim, tar and roses, but only after a bit in the glass, again a bit woody, even alcoholic touch. Great fruit intencity, a bit hollow finish, chocolate and mint, grippy tannins, good length. 90
