Bright ruby, intence, even huge, some barnyard first, then fruity, slightly sweet black fruits, sweaty sport socks, big and bold, a bit plump and alcoholic, how complex is it really, it's more of a knockout really. 84

2003 Domaine Pegau, Chateauneuf du Pape, Da Capo;
Deep ruby, garnet rim. Kind of elegant nose, complex, huge fruit, and still cool, like fresh jam, of all red and black fruits there is, spices, pepper, a bit sweetish. Good acidity, ripe tannins, heavy and big, like a body builder trying to dress smart, doesn't really work, now does it? 86
