Ruby, brick rim. Dusty and some prunes, quite tired nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, some prunes again, easy going, fresher palate but clearly on it's way down. Directly from the estate. 85

1975 Château Mouton Rothschild:

(Imperial) Bright ruby, garnet rim. Liquorice, leather, prunes and figs and a slightly scented nose. Fresh acidity, ripe and few tannins, savory, refreshing, quite nuanced and long finish. I've had fruitier and more complex bottles of tjis, but a great experience even so. Served at Mouton Rothschild, directly from the estate's cellar. 90
