1983 Château Mouton Rothschild;
Deep ruby with garnet rim. A level fill, 4 mm below cork, and cork not soaked. Pencil, finest leather, pure, elegant, very complex, plums, cherries, prunes, blackberries, touch of herbs and slightly of chocolate and tobacco. Even tea, green peppers, what a nose! Good acidity, fresh and lively, ripe tannins, gorgeous texture, flirting, refreshing, tannins like silk curtains, very long length. The best 83 Mouton I've had. 95
