One of Norway's largest wine tasting note archives, containing more than 25.000 tasting notes. All tasted by one taster, not a panel, so Norway's most consistent archive as well. To find tasting notes? Search; mywinesandmore "wine name" on google, to find all notes from one property.

Jurade de St Emilion dinner
It's not every day I get invited to a dinner with the Jurade de Saint-Emilion, this was my first in fact, serving the 2000 vintage. The dinner was held just outside the city walls of the town itself.
First out was:
2000 Château Lyonnat;
Ruby, garnet rim, dark fruits, intense nose, more "elegant" palate. Good acidity, ripe tannins, nice body and texture, good length. 85
Then
2000 Château Haut-Bernat;
Ruby, tiny pink rim. Leather and chocolate nose, darker feel, fresh acidity, ripe tannins, but too short. 83
2000 Aurélius;
Ruby, ripe, chocolate and blackberries. Nice acidity and texture, balanced, good length. 85
2000 Château Pipeau;
Dark ruby, exotic spices, dark berries, smoky touch from barrels, nice acidity, ripe tannins, slightly lean finish. 86
2000 Château Grand Corbin-Despagne;
Ruby, garnet rim. Fruity, extracted feel on the nose. Fresh acidity, slightly rough tannins, good length. 86
Etiketter:
2000,
Bordeaux,
Lussac Saint-Emilion,
Puisseguin Saint-Emilion,
Saint-Emilion
