Jurade de St Emilion dinner, part II

2000 Château Dassault;
Deep ruby, extracted, yet dusty feel to it, fresher palate, nice acidity and body, but short. 85

2000 Château Soutard;
Ruby, blueberries, elegant with sweet overtones. Good acidity, but feels lower, ripe tannins, ripe style, lacks finesse. 86

Nick Stephens of Bordeaux undiscovered was at my table

2000 Château Canon La Gaffeliere;
Deep ruby, exotic spices, dark berries, refined and complex nose. Nice balance and texture, fresh acidity, ripe tannins, length could be longer. 91

2005 Château La Fleur Morange;
Deep ruby, intense, eucalyptus, plums, mint, chocolate, layered and complex. Sweet licorice, fresh acidity, ripe tannins, balances sweet fruit with tannic backbone and freshness, long. 93
