2007 Cédric Bouchard BdB Roses de Jeanne La Bolorée;
(Served blind) Straw yellow, watery rim, tiny bubbles. Some brich, yeast, oxidized yellow apples, firmer and more giving with air, lot's of autolysis, fairly rich nose. Fresh but not too high acidity, very apple-peel and apple bitterness. Vinous texture, with air more of rotting leaves and apples on the ground. 89
This wasn't easy to get, I was sure it was Champagne, but with BdBish aromas, but Pinot Noir texture and acidity, I was lost. Turns out this is a 500 bottles only cuvée, made of Pinot Blanc!
