1996 Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru;
(Picture is a 99) Ruby, thin brick rim. Perfumed, open, superb nose but has something rustic to it, and maybe some oak just behind the fruit. Fresh acidity, feels leaner than the 99, a bit all over the place, lacking focus (in this context that is) but balanced, long. 93
