Jaboulet Hermitage, Mollydooker, Two Hands, Henschke and more

2010 Jaboulet Ainé Hermitage La Chapelle
Deep ruby. Spicy, ripe and rich nose, some pepper and dark berries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, ripe, rich but less so than on the nose, refreshing and long finish. 93

2007 Guigal Château d'Ampuis:
Ruby. Dark berries, vanilla, minerals, lots of oak nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, sweet and ripe palate, fruity, again a bit oak showy. 88

2010 Mollydooker McLaren Vale Velvet Glove Shiraz
Deep ruby. Rich, fruity, ripe and intense nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, sweet and fruity, Port like, refreshing finish, long if alcoholic finish. A wine made for prizes more than drinking. 92

2009 Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Barossa
Deep ruby. Rich, fruity, massive and sweet nose. Freshish acidity, few and ripe tannins, sweet, fruity and easy going. 87

2009 Two Hands Barossa Valley-McLaren vale Ares
Deep ruby. Rich, fruity, scented, dark berries and cinamon nose. Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, sweet and fruity, good length. 88

2009 Chapoutier Hermitage Monier de la Sizeranne
Ruby. Rich, dark berries, sweet and alcoholic nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner palate, fresher, slightly easy going, alcoholic finish, good length. 88
