80M 20CF Ruby. Red berries, fruity, ripe nose, some vanilla, light spicy note nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins with some astringent ones, fresh, fruity, rounded, bit lean, somewhat woody finish. 86

85M 15CF Ruby. Spices, dark fruits, some vanilla, richer nose, spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, still woody and somewhat extracted, trying too hard. 88

2005 Château Gombaude-Guillot
Ruby. Scented, dark and red berries, fruity nose, some violets, light spicy note. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, juicy, rounded, quite fresh, red berries, good length. 90

2005 Château Bourgneuf
Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, fruity, dark berries, some vanilla and spices nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity but somewhat hollow, some green notes, woody finish starting to integrate. 89

2007 Château Beauregard
Ruby. Some violets, lightly scented nose, blueberries and some mulberries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant fruit but somewhat edgy wood tannins, leaner finish. 89

Ruby, garnet rim. Liquorice, some leather, anise, leaner nose, some violets. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner body and structure, somewhat drying. Wood polish. 89

Ruby. Scented, some vanilla and spices, fruity, blueberries, youthful and somewhat tight nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, dark berries, some blueberries, juicy yet firm, long. 93

Ruby. Scented, blueberries, plums, some vanilla, dark fruits, pine note. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, ripe and dark fruits, some coffee, some chocolate, tannins and vanilla, spices, youthful texture, long. 95

Ruby, garnet rim. Mint, some figs and prunes, some wood polish, maturing nose, mature next to 1990. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner palate, some figs and prunes, leaner finish, somewhat drying. 87

Ruby, garnet rim. Elegant and scented nose, some floral notes and a light bell pepper note, mint. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, leaner, some red berries, some herbal notes, leaner expression. 89

2004 Château Hosanna
Ruby. Jammy, dark fruity, coffee, chocolate, intense nose, vanilla and spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, mulberries, fresher palate than nose suggests, some vanilla and spices finish, long. Some minerals. 93

2005 Château Hosanna
Deepish ruby. Dark fruits, some vanilla, blueberries, some chocolate, tight yet intense nose. Blueberry jam, fairly fresh acidity, ripe tannins, woody and spicy but fruit seems to handle it, long and juicy finish if somewhat hollow, at least at this stage. Difficult one. 92-95

Ruby. Dark fruits, juicy, some vanilla notes, intense, ripe and detailed. Tight nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity, juicy, ripe, mulberries and blueberries, some vanilla, long. 94

2000 Château Latour a Pomerol
Ruby. Scented nose, some vanilla and spices still, blueberries and blackberries, tight nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, ripe, fairly detailed, ripe, structured but starting to polish off, long finish. 95

Ruby. Scented, dark fruits, some sweet and ripe dark fruits nose, some vanilla, intense. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, ripe, intense, fairly juicy, dark berries, long. 95

Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, red berries, fruity, elegant, charming, light mint and minerals nose, seductive nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, red berries palate, doesn't quite follow up the nose, elegant red berries. 93

Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, dark fruits, some blueberries, spices, darker and deeper than a bottle last year, quite youthful still, tight, needs massive air to open. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, quite lively and elegant palate, lovely acidity string that carries the flavours, some figs, long. 93

Ruby, broad brick rim. Anise, blueberries, figs and prunes nose. Light violets note. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh blueberries and red currants palate, some liquorice, long and quite nuanced. 92
