1995 Château Cheval Blanc;
Ruby, brick rim, served blind. At the Vika Monopoly they had told the owner that no one would guess this one blind, well I did. Coffee, intense, blueberries, rich, if not rich for Cheval, cigars, just a tiny touch of VA. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, closed, never fully opened, but also a more withdrawn style of Cheval, together with 96. Long finish. Shared by Tom Sander. 94-95
