Some Pinots and one Margaret River Merlot

2012 Gernot Heinrich Dorflagen Pinot Noir:
Ruby. Herbs, red berries and some vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner palate, fresh and fruity, good length. 87

2012 Nautilus Estate Opawa Marlborough Pinot Noir:
Bright ruby. Freshly made uncooked strawberry jam, meaning pure and sweet strawberries and a bit scented nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, slight herbal note on the palate, fresh and fairly elegant, good length. 86

2009 Dalzocchio Pinot Nero:
Ruby. Red berries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins,   Red berries and fruity, more exciting palate, quite fresh, good but not very complex, good length. 85

2009 Vasse Felix Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot:
Ruby. Cassis, leather and a slightly scented nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively and fresh, if a bit hollow palate, good length. 87
