Bright ruby. Fruity, scented, red berries, quite flirting bottle. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, quite detailed, refreshing, anise note, cherries, slightly warm. 87
2007 Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Schienna d'Asino:
Bright ruby. Fruity, liquorice, cherries, morellos, some plums and figs nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, intense, rich but fairly focused, ripe, bit warm, long. 90
