2013 Château de La Selve Magualonne Rosé
Pale red. Light fruity nose with subdued minerals nose. Fresh acidity, quite lively and refreshing, some minerals, refreshing. 85
2012 Château de La Selve Palissaire
Ruby. Blue and blackberries nose, slightly scented, needs a few hours of decanting to open. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit raw texture, needs ageing or proper decanting, good length. 86
2009 Château de La Selve Serre de Berty
Ruby. Rich nose, dark berries, ripe, fruity, liquorice and some leather nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, sweet and ripe (14,8), bit on the sweet side for me, warm finish. 87
2007 Château de La Selve Beaulieu
Ruby. Red berries, blueberries, figs, scented, quite elegant nose, anise. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, some figs and anise, red berries, fairly lively, good length. Fairly firm finish. 13,5 alcohol. Gets better and better with air. 89
