Lovely 82 Clerc Milon from magnum and much more
2008 Château de Fieuzal
Pale golden. Apricots, vanilla, cinamon, light floral note nose, rich. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh and fruity, ripe, some tropical notes, long. 92
2009 Château Chasse-Spleen blanc
Pale golden. Ligjt floralover ripe yellow fruits nose, spices and vanilla. Fresh acidity, much livelier and fresher than any former bottle since primeur, lost the baby fat, good length. 89
2003 Les Plantiers de Haut-Brion
(2nd Ch Haut-Brion and Laville Haut-Brion) Pale golden. Rich nose, vanilla, flint, intense nose, smoky minerals, layered. Freshish acidity, fruity, minerals, flinty, intense, layered and long. These tend to oxidate fairly young so lovely with a perfect elleven year old. 93
1996 Reserve de la Comtesse
(2nd Ch. Pichon Comtesse) Ruby. Cassis, intense, cedar, leather, tobacco, slight stable note. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity, ripe, lovely now, drinking beautifully, long. 90

Ruby, garnet rim. Figs, plums, leather and a cooked fruit touch. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leather, figs, plumsand prunes, drying finish and dying in tje glass. 89 at its best
1982 Châteu Fourcas Hosten
Ruby with thin orange rim. Dusty, figs and plums, sligjtly floral, tiering. Fresh acidity, soft tannins, tiering, lean, some figs holding on, drying. 82

(Magnum) Ruby with thin orange rim. Cassis, figs, cedar, scented and plums nose, lovely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and fresh, almost playful '82, lively, fresh red berries, delicate and long. 93
1979 Château Beychevelle
Ruby with garnet rim. Bit lazy nose, leather, figs and anise, takes time, some cassis notes later on. Fresh acidity, few and soft tannins, some figs and cassis, leather, good length. 88

Ruby, garnet rim. Cassis, violets, cedar and tobacco, lovely nose but fading quickly in the glass. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh redcurrants, leaner finish. 90 before fading.

Ruby, garnet rim. Cassis, some cedar, slight floral note nose, more intense, figs and prunes. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh and fruity if leaner, figs and leather, long. 91
1990 Château Suduiraut
Amber. Caramel, apricots, dried fruits nose, mature, burnt sugar. Fresh acidity, ripe, honey, caramel and oxodative, warm and bitter, one of those less fresh bottles. 91
