2010 Clos Floridene blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Fruity, light gooseberries, grapefruit and minerals nose (stoney). Fresh acidity, fruity, lively, elegant and fresh, good length. 87

Louis Roederer Brut Premier
Pale lemon yellow, small bubbles. Apples, lemons, yeast, minerals, fruity, fairly detailed. Fresh acidity, rounded mousse, fruity and elegant, lovely balance, very together non vintage, good length. 89

2005 Joseph Phelps Insignia
Deep ruby. Fruity, dark berries, fairly rich nose, intense, ripe. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, intense, more elegant now than earlier, less rich and more balanced, but lacks the complexity, refinement and details of a wine in this price range. Long. 92

2001 Château Raymond-Lafon
Golden. Rich nose, apricots, pineapples, slight caramel, botrytis, layered and complex. Fresh acidity, fruity, rounded, intense, more together than last bottle a few years back, less bitter, very long finish. 93

2007 Schloss Lieser Niederberg Helden Riesling Auslese Lange Goldkapsel
Almost lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, tropical, detailed, almost floral high notes, layered and nuanced. Raspberries and peach. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, detailed, superb balance, stunning palate, bit leaner finish, very long indeed. 95
