Pale ruby. Easy nose, some spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner and fresh. 85

Very pale ruby. Lean and herbal nose. Fresh acidity, few tannins, simple if fresh palate. 82

Bright pale ruby. Light and fruity, same goes for the palate, easy and fresh. 84

Pale ruby. Fresh and easy going nose, bit more fruit on the palate, fairly easy going. 85

2010 Domaine Thenard Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru
Bright ruby. Red berries, subdued minerals beneath, bit tight and seems straightforward. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, failry lively, fruity, not too complex for the vineyard, but feels pure. 89

2010 Domaine Thenard Grands Echezeaux
Bright ruby. Light nose of red berries, slightly scented nose, again easy going for vintage and vineyard. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded, fresh and quite elegant. It will not impress everybody, but it's quite long actually. 92
