1958 Mosel

1958 Karthäuserhof, Eitelsbacher Karthäuserhof Riesling Kronenberg Fuder #131, Wachstum Rautenstrauch. Original-Kellerabzug;
Cork in good condition, fill two cm below cork. Deep golden, some particles in the bottle, almost like a cobweb and almost hazy. Nose of cellar and petroleum with hints of floral notes and fat. Very sweet attack, the acidity is almost not excisting, tones of unripe strawberries, but also lime and lemon. The aftertaste is extremelly long, 5-7 minutes. Then more and more lemon and lemon juice, the acidity gets in, sweetness dissapears more and more, and then after 18 minutes, from opening, dead, just acidic lemon water. While it lasted. 90
