2009 Château Haut-Brion Blanc;
(Barrel sample) Pale lemon yellow, fresh, citrus, minerals, slightly smokey, some sweet apricots just putting their heads out, flinty, almost schisty minerals. Pure, intense, complex, a Montrachet beater, huge minerality, smoky, such balance and complexity, mouthwatering, big, pronounced, very flavourfull, again fantastic length, washes over your tongue in waves. 97-99
