2009 Château Mouton Rothschild;
(Barrel sample) Deep ruby, ruby rim. Blackcurrants, leather, cigars, sandalwood, vanilla, slightly perfumed and floral, hint of anis, lots of pure fruits and berries. Mouthwatering freshness, high of ripe tannins, very pure and elegant, fantastic balance, seductive, not as flashy as some, fantastic elegance, a real beauty. I'm impressed that this extremelly elegant wine was made in this vintage. fantastic length. You have to look, this one does not reveal all it's secrets to everyone. Quite typical of Mouton I would say. 98-100
