1997 Château Mouton Rothschild;
Bright ruby, garnet rim. Cedar, cherries, leather, bell peppers, anis, spices, blackcurrants and red plums, developing. Very fresh acidity, high of ripe tannins, starting to soften, intense fruit, very elegant, a vintage far better than people think, it has given me a lot of pleasure for no bucks, very long length. A Mouton, picked up for less than 100€, and for me it delivers still. 90
