Over 25.000 tasting notes

One of Norway's largest wine tasting note archives, containing more than 25.000 tasting notes. All tasted by one taster, not a panel, so Norway's most consistent archive as well. To find tasting notes? Search; mywinesandmore "wine name" on google, to find all notes from one property.

09 and 10 from Kirwan

2010 Château Kirwan:
Deep ruby. Floral, violets, cassis, thrilling nose. Mint and vanilla to spice it up. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant texture, refreshing and balanced. Long. 92

2009 Château Kirwan:
Deep ruby. Opulent and intense nose, almost flamboyant and lacks nuances at the moment. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, again a ball, balanced if rich palate. Long. 91

Michel Rolland left as a consultant in 2006 and in 07 Boissenot arrived. Since his arrival I find the wines getting more and more nuanced every year, and I like the new path better. I hope he will continue the quest for refinement rather than power.
