A few from Bordeaux

2002 Château de Fieuzal Blanc:
Oxidized despite the fresh looking colour.

2008 Château Carbonnieux Blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Lime, lemons, minerals, vanilla and elder flower. Fresh acidity, elegant body and texture, refreshing and mouthwatering if not as lively as the 07. Long. 92+

2009 Domaine du Balardin:
Ruby. A bit overshadowing woody oak on cassis, leather and vanilla.Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, balanced and good enough Bordeaux Sup. considering it's about €3,80 retail. 78

2007 Château Taillefer:
Deep ruby, garnet rim. Blueberries and plums nose. Fairly pure but not that complex. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, a bit oaky finish, but good and inexpensive Pomerol. 85

1999 Château Petit Village:
Deep ruby, garnet rim. Rich and spicy nose, plums and figs, Christmas spices and leather. Floral with more air. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, mature soon and drinking nicely now. 90

2008 Brio:
(2nd Ch Cantenac Brown) Deep ruby. Blackcurrants leaf, blueberries and some vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant body and palate, rounded and refreshing. Good length. 86

2008 Château Cantenac Brown:
Deep ruby. Floral, cassis, blueberries and some vanilla. Refreshing nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, mouthwatering, very elegant body and texture. Long. 92
