Four 2011's from Chablis Alain Geoffroy



2011 Alain Geoffroy Chablis 1er Cru Vau-Ligneau:
Towards lemon yellow. Apples, lemons, minerals, almost steely nose. Fresh acidity, elegant yellow fruit touch palate, good length. 89

2011 Alain Geoffroy Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy:
Towards lemon yellow. Apples, some minerals nose. Fresh acidity, elegant fruit and body, even if on the leaner side. 88

2011 Alain Geoffroy Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume:
Pale lemon yellow. Tight, closed but nuanced. Fresh acidity, almost playful palate, elegant and fruity, long. 90

2011 Alain Geoffroy Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos:
Pale lemon yellow. Lemons, apples, minerals, subdued but elegant. Fresh acidity, almost smoky minerals on the palate, almost rich in fruit, still elegant and lively, long. 91
