09 and 10 from Marquis d'Alesme and Labegorce Margaux
2009 Château Labegorce Margaux:
Deep ruby. Cassis, vanilla, blueberries, touch of violets with air. Rich apalate, not that refreshing, balanced but a bit edgy, slightly warm. 88
2010 Château Labegorce Margaux:
Deep ruby. Blue- and blackberries, vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing if again a bit on the rich and edgy side, good length. 89
2009 Château Marquis d'Alesme:
Deep ruby. Fine floral and cassis nose, layered. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant texture, something is going on behind there, a bit of a ball right now. Long. 91 for now.
2010 Château Marquis d'Alesme:
Deep ruby. Rich nose, intense fruit. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant body if a bit on the rich side, and again a bit of a ball. Quite long. 90 for now.
