7 from Bordeaux, 12 Cloudy Bay and two Moët


2012 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Grassy gooseberries and cats pie. Fresh, towards high acidity, good length. 88

2004 Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, lime and minerals. Fresh acidity and mousse, elegant, a bit lean, long finish. 91

2003 Dom Perignon:
Another corked bottle.

2008 Château La Tour Carnet:
Deep ruby. Cassis, leather, plums, rich nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant and fruit driven, long. 89

2008 Château Boyd Cantenac:
Deep ruby. Spicy, smoky on top of cassis and herbs. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, herbal touch mid palate, good length. A bit heavy use of barrrels? 88

2008 Château Monbrison:
Deep ruby. Richer nose, cassis, vanilla and floral notes in the back. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, a bit rough avrround the edges now, needs time. 89

2007 Château Monbrison:
Ruby. Ever so slightly herbal nose, cassis and vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner style body, refreshing, very typical of the vintage. 87

2008 Château Malartic Lagraviere:
Deep ruby. Pessac minerals, cassis, leather, fruity nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant and lovely balance, long. 91

2007 Château de Pez:
(Magnum) Ruby. Cassis, bell peppers and vanilla. More open than last bottle, and more rounded. Give it an hour or two in decanter. 88

2006 Château de Pez:
(Magnum) ruby. Vanilla, cassis and blueberries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, balanced and nice fruit, good length. 89
