One Heymann-Löwenstein and three from Robert Ampeau


2011 Heymann-Löwenstein Riesling Schieferterassen:
Pale lemon yellow. Intense nose of apples and minerals. High acidity, apples palate but also a richer feel for HL than usual. Long. 91

2002 Robert Ampeau Bourgogne Blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Slightly off first, but yellow Apples and minerals with air. Fresh acidity, creamy texture, sulphur touch, good length. 85

1989 Robert Ampeau Bourgogne Blanc:
Pale golden. Very mature nose, almost mineral-salty. Medium acidity, rounded and almost waxy texture, good length. 87

1995 Robert Ampeau Pommard:
Pale ruby.some autumn leaf, wet soil and raspberries. Fresh acidity, tannins soon gone, slightly lean, good length. 87
