Bright pale ruby, thin garnet rim. Red berries, slightly oaky behind and fairly clean nose, not as seductive as some. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit oaky palate, but less so with air, slightly firm, quite pure red berries fruit, long finish. 92

Magic evening with 79 Champagne Charlie, 61 and 64 Conterno Barolo, 82 Gaja Sori Tildin, 88 and 86 VCC and much more.
A magic evening, one of those nights were one just forgets time and space, superb food and wines and great company and discussions. White truffles flown in from Alba over magic risotto, the best tongue from ox I've tasted, some magic flavours and textures on the table this evening.
1979 Charles Heidsieck Champagne Charlie:
Golden with amber hue, tiny bubbles. Brioche, nuts, apples, butter and seafront minerals, almost oysters behind. Fresh acidity, elegant mousse, bit bitter coffee and dark chocolate notes on palate before a flinty mineraly long finish. 93 ****
2002 Gaston Chique Blanc de Blancs:
(Magnum) Towards lemon yellow, tiny bubbles. Pure apples and minerals nose, bit tight, still fruity. Fresh acidity, tight but elegant mousse, fresh and lively, elegant, lovely and a bit rounded. Long. 91 ****

Fairly fresh aciditu, ripe tannins, intense and massive again, unbalanced and a slight cooked feel, probably not optimal storage, bitter chocolate finish. 87 ***

Pale amber, orange hue. Apricots, nuts, floral, intense, wild strawberries nose. Fresh acidity, lively, playful, refined, especially for the grape variety, nuanced, bit burnt caramel that deepens the pure fruit more than interrupts, long finish. 94 *****

I november kan vi tilby to fantastiske smakinger. Den første er med en av Toscana beste produsenter, selveste Avignonesi. Dette blir topp!
Siste smaking for i år er en stor messe med over 60 naturprodusenter med mange hundre forskjellige viner. Vi hadde en tilsvarende messe i fjor og det var en uforglemmelig opplevelse. Gå ikke glipp av denne messen i år.

Denne kvelden vil du få smake 8 forskjellige viner fra vinhusets portefølje, både i Alessio ferske og modne utgaver. Du vil også bli bedre kjent med vinhusets kontroversielle historie og få høre om hvordan de gikk fra å være en av Toscanas erkeklassiske topprodusenter av den gamle skolen for så å gjøre helomvending til økologisk drift med naturlig arbeid i vinmarker så vel som i vinkjelleren. Halvert produksjon, dobbelt så stort vinmarksareal, vinmarker fulle av blomster og urter, struttende, friske vinplanter og klokkeklare viner med finmasket karakter, er noen av de første resultatene etter taktskiftet. Med dette beviser de at biologisk og naturvennlig tilnærming ikke bare er for små eller spesielt interesserte produsenter.

Two for me new from Rioja
2010 La Locomotora Crianza:
Ruby. Blueberries, anise and an almost dill like note on the nose, minerals. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh fruit, elegant, lovely balance, blueberries and anise finish. Refreshing with a Temperanillo not hidden behind oak or extraction, good length. 88
2008 La Locomotora Riserva:
Deep ruby. Red berries, plums, blueberries and anise. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, bit rich, rounded, good length. 89
96 La Lagune
1996 Château La Lagune:
Ruby, garnet rim. Slightly scented, spices, bit woody notes under cassis and a faint floral note. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, rounded with air, starting to come together nicely, drinking really well now with air, bit rustic but that has it's charm. Long. 90

Ruby, thin garnet rim. Cassis, figs, leather, tobacco, superb nose, evolving nicely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, elegant and lively palate, more rounded, long. Can be stored longer, very enjoyable now. 92

Ruby, garnet rim. Cassis, leather and a touch of cedar on the nose. Layered. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, quite a vibrant and alive feel to it, quite elegant, maturing, good length. 88
2001 Château Potensac:
Almost a house wine. Ruby, scented, cassis, leather, starting figs, evolving nicely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, refreshing and long. Slightly more evolved notes than two bottles in July. 90
2006 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste:
Ruby. Scented, cassis, leather notes, floral and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and quite intense, loosing the 06 edge now, but still far to young. Wait four years or more. 92

Ruby. Red berries, touch of vanilla and floral nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner nose, fresh and quite elegant, good length. 85

Ruby. Red berries and scented nose, quite fresh. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, quite elegant and rounded texture and a somewhat fuller Mercurey. Good length. 87
2011 Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Les Cazetiers:
Ruby. Floral, red berries, vanilla and spices nose, elegant even if the oak is showing. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively and again elegant texture, if slightly woody edgy finish. Needs a few years with the barrel notes. 90
1990 Suduiraut
1990 Château Suduiraut:
Amber golden. Apricots, fruity, vanilla, raisins and nuts nose, layered and complex. Fresh acidity, fruity and rounded, bit caramelly still but less burnt sugar than many bottles, fresher and a lovely floral note in the finish, long. 92

2011 Faiveley Macon:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, focused nose for Macon. Freshish acidity, fruitdriven even if leaner body, fairly focused again, good length. 84
2011 Faiveley Corton-Charlemagne:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, tight, mineraly and focused nose, layered. Fresh acidity, fruity and rounded, leaner for CC, nuanced, bit smoky finish. Seems to be a new style at Faiveley? Long. 92

Bright red. Red berries, some herbs, floral notes, nuanced and transparent nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, almost crispy, very fresh, mouthwatering. Lovely and long. 92
2011 Taupenot Merme Charmes Chambertin:
Bright ruby. Red berries, scented, transparent, floral and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lively, nuanced, fresh and elegant, bit spicy finish. Refined. 94
1974 Château Musar
1974 Château Musar:
Late release from Musar. Bright garnet, broad orange rim, lot's of sediments. Leather, anise, figs and almost flinty minerals beneath, dried red berries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, lively palate, cherry stones and leather, bit drying in the finish, this bottle is drink now. Long. 90

2010 Jean Monnier Beaune 1er Cru Les Montrevenots blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Quite fruity nose, more subdued minerals, yellow plums notes. Fresh acidity, bit oaky for the fruit and body, good length. 86
2010 Jean Monnier Meursault Vieilles Vignes:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals and again fruity nose. Fresh acidity, fruity and fresh feel to it, good length. 88
2010 Jean Monnier Meursault 1er cru Genevrières:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, vanilla and straight out wood on the nose. Fresh acidity, creamy texture, fruity and quite lively, the barrels are more hidden on the palate, ripe orange lemonade finish, good length. 89

2012 Hexamer Meddersheimer Altenberg Riesling Eiswein:
Pale golden. Apples, minerals, apricots, fruity and intense nose. Fresh acidity, lively, refreshing and mouthwatering, gorgeous, pure and long. 94
Two 2011 Pommard's from Pillot
2011 Pillot Pommard Les Tavannes:
Bright ruby. Smoky notes, red berries, vanilla, barrels a bit in your face. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresher palate where the fruit plays the mayor part, transparent feel for Pommard, bit raw finish. 89
2011 Pillot Pommard 1er Cru Rugiens:
Ruby. Vanilla, toast and spices on the nose, subdued red berries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, oak overshadows all the way, structured, has it got enough fruit to overcome it? 82-90 depending on the fruit.

Bright ruby. Red berries, spices and floral nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and rounded texture, bit subdued, good length. 86

Bright ruby. Red berries, anise and floral nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, fresh feel even if the oak is a bit noticeable now, good length. 89

2010 Château Godard Bellevue:
Ruby. Blueberries and red fruits nose. Fruity. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, quite fresh, drinking nicely allready, good length. 86
2006 L'Etoile du Château Godard Bellevue:
Ruby. Figs, blueberries and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh feel even if vanilla notes are a bit up front. Good length. 86
2008 Château Marquis de Terme:
Ruby. Cassis, vanilla, coffee and slightly overshadowed by some barrel notes, but even so some floral notes can be detected. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded and quite elegant for Marquis de Terme, bit more edgy finish. Give it four to seven more years to round off. 89
2012 Heidemanns-Bergweiler
2012 Dr. Heidemanns-Bergweiler Riesling:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals and grapefruit nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fruity and minerals palate. Good length. 86
05 Cristal
2005 Roederer Cristal:
Pale lemon yellow, tiny bubbles. Apples, minerals, nuanced and floral nose, transparent and layered. Fresh acidity, fresh and lively mousse, feels a bit rounder and fruitier than last bottle, nuanced. 94
