2011 Faiveley Mercurey:
Ruby. Red berries, touch of vanilla and floral nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner nose, fresh and quite elegant, good length. 85
2011 Faiveley Mercurey 1er cru Clos du Roy:
Ruby. Red berries and scented nose, quite fresh. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, quite elegant and rounded texture and a somewhat fuller Mercurey. Good length. 87
2011 Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Les Cazetiers:
Ruby. Floral, red berries, vanilla and spices nose, elegant even if the oak is showing. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively and again elegant texture, if slightly woody edgy finish. Needs a few years with the barrel notes. 90
